THE ADVENTURE, AT A GLANCE

Make room for
something remarkable.

Discover Tanzania’s stunning wildlife in just 6 days! This unforgettable safari takes you through the breathtaking landscapes of Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, among other incredible destinations. Led by expert guides, you’ll embark on thrilling game drives to observe Africa’s iconic animals in their natural habitats, including lions, elephants, zebras, and more.

Your journey.
Day by day.

Day 1 - Kilimanjaro International Airport

You will be collected from the airport and transferred to Kilibase hotel in Moshi (45 minutes depending on traffic jam). Depending on your arrival time, you will have an opportunity to explore the hotel grounds, go for a dip in the swimming pool or partake in any of the offered additional activities available.

Day 2 - Moshi Town - Tarangire National Park

Our tour sets off after breakfast, with the first stop being the town of Arusha for some last minute purchases, before we head off on an exciting safari experience… We will travel towards the Tarangire National Park, where we stop for lunch and afterwards, our first game drive of the safari! Tarangire National Park is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of the annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephant, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebra.

Day 3 - Karatu - Serengeti National Park

Our journey starts shortly after breakfast with a scenic drive up the Rift Valley escarpment to Serengeti National Park. You will be crossing Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority and we make a brief stop at Olduvai Gorge and the museum (Option) which documents the discovery of 1.8 million year old human-like fossils. Thereafter we head for the Serengeti National Park, game driving along the way to the campsite.

Day 4 - Serengeti National Park

Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is renowned for its annual wildebeest migration and large predator population. From February to May, a herd of over a million wildebeest (gnu) migrate for the Western Corridor of the park, in search of greener pastures. The Serengeti’s other animal attractions include lion, leopard, zebra, Thompson gazelle, impala, Grant’s gazelle and buffalo. Most of the park is open swathes of grassland, broken by isolated granite kopjes (hills) and patches of acacias woodlands.

Day 5 - Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

We take an early breakfast at the camp and then head to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. On arrival we go through the registration process and descend to the floor of the world’s largest unbroken caldera for the most wonderful day of game viewing. We will have lunch at the designated picnic site at the side of the hippo pool and continue with a game drive as we drive up the crater rim for overnight.

Day 6 - Ngorongoro - - JRO Airport

After breakfast we explore the colourful town of Mto-wa-Mbu for some last minute pictures and curio shopping. Afterwards we head to Arusha then Kilimanjaro International Airport to connect with your International flight back home. We hope to welcome you again on one of our African adventures!
