Days 1 - 4 - Zanzibar - An Indian Ocean Gem
Upon your arrival at Zanzibar Airport, your driver will take you to your resort, tailored to your room category. Make the most of your time at the resort by savoring a refreshing drink at the Jetty Bar, sunbathing, or taking a dip in the inviting waters of the Indian Ocean or the swimming pool. For those seeking more adventure, a range of exciting excursions are available to further explore the enchanting Zanzibar.
Day 5 - Discover Selous Game Reserve/ Nyerere National Park
After an early breakfast, you'll be escorted to the airport for a flight to Selous in a sturdy bush plane. Upon arrival, our experienced driver guide will take you along on a full-day game drive in Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park). This expansive reserve is one of the largest remaining wilderness areas in Africa and is home to over 350 species of birds and reptiles. Spend the night at Africa Safari Selous
Day 6 - Selous - A Magical Experience in Southern Tanzania
Today, after breakfast, join our knowledgeable guide for an insightful Bush Walk, where you'll learn about the natural surroundings. Later, enjoy a unique Boat Safari on the Rufiji River, offering you the chance to view wildlife from a different perspective. Spend another night at Africa Safari Selous.
Day 7 - Another exciting game drive in Selous Game Reserve!
Enjoy another full-day game drive in Selous Game Reserve/ Nyerere National Park, and explore the abundance of wildlife and mesmerizing environments that this National Park has to offer. You will spend another night at Africa Safari Selous.
Days 8 - 12 - Return to Paradise - Back to Zanzibar
Following breakfast, you'll proceed to Selous Airport, where you'll catch a flight to the tropical haven of Zanzibar. Upon arrival, our driver will transfer you to your beachfront resort. Over the next five days, immerse yourself in the serenity of the ocean, unwind, or consider booking optional excursions to explore this tropical island.
Day 13 - Departure
Today marks the end of your remarkable Beach & Safari Holiday. Our driver will escort you to Zanzibar Airport for your return flight home. Reflect on the new and exhilarating memories you've created as you bid farewell to this Paradise!
This is a suggested route. Your written proposal confirms the final schedule, stays and arrangements. On mountain trips, ask us to confirm arrival and departure nights separately from trekking days.

What the itinerary covers
- Accommodation: Your stay throughout the safari will be covered, usually in lodges or tented camps. These accommodations are designed for comfort and provide easy access to the wildlife areas.
- Meals: Most safaris include meals, usually full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Drinks are sometimes included, particularly bottled water during game drives. Be sure to check your specific itinerary for details.
- Transportation: Your transportation to and from game drives is usually included in the itinerary. This is usually done in a specially designed 4x4 safari vehicle for optimal wildlife viewing and photography.
- Park entrance fees: Park entrance fees and any other required government fees are usually covered by the safari company.
- Activities: The activities listed in your itinerary, such as game drives, guided walks, and village visits, are usually included.

- International Flights: Flights to and from your safari destination usually are not included.
- Visa Fees: You will likely need to pay for a visa to enter the country where you’ll be going on safari.
- Gratuities: Tipping your guides, cooks, and other staff is customary, though not mandatory.
- Drinks: While bottled water might be included during game drives, other drinks such as sodas, alcohol, and specialty coffees may not be.
- Laundry: Laundry services are usually not included in the safari price.
- Personal Expenses: Souvenirs, phone calls, internet access, and other personal expenses are your responsibility.
